The Bahamas Supreme Court yesterday (March 20) ordered a paternity test to determine the father of Anna Nicole Smith�s child, baby Danielynn.
Usmagazine quoted Smith�s mother Virgie Arthur�s lawyer as confirming: �They ordered the DNA test for Dannielynn,� she said.
First to arrive at court was the late Smith�s partner and lawyer Howard K. Stern, who is listed as Dannielynn's father on her birth certificate. As he entered, Stern revealed �I'm doing the best that I can,� he said.
Larry Birkhead, Smith�s former boyfriend (who also claims he�s the father) arrived 15 minutes later to a rapturous response from the crowd waiting outside, who screamed �we're on your side.�
�Bahamian people, thank you so much," Stern said as he left. Birkhead left the court room elated after discovering the paternity test would be going ahead. �I feel great,� he said. �It was a great day in court�.
