Although news yesterday of a Take That musical may have excited fans, the re-formed group have spoken out to distance themselves from the production.
"The band would like to state categorically that this production is being undertaken with neither their involvement nor their endorsement" they said in a statement that was released last night.
Just to make it clear where they stand, the four added: "They would wish their fans and the public to know that this production is absolutely and 100 per cent nothing to do with Take That"
The show, entitled Never Forget, is based on some of the band's most well-known songs, in a manner similar to the likes of Mamma Mia and We Will Rock You. It begins in August.
