Paramount are reviewing an old Forest Gump script originally commissioned in 2001 as a sequel to the hugely successful film.

Just as the first Gump was based on a novel by Winston Groom, the follow-up novel, 'Gump & Co', is the source material for the script.

The story finds Forrest in a bad place in life. Jenny is dead, his shimping firm has failed and all he has in life is his son.

Set through the 80�s and into the 90�s, he once again stumbles through the historic events of the two decades, even meeting Tom Hanks!
