Oscar winner Dame Helen Mirren says rumours she is to meet the real Queen are just that � she doesn�t know anything about it.

It has been reported Mirren was going to visit Queen Elizabeth after winning the Academy Award for playing her on the big screen when director Stephen Frears suggested they could be going to Buckingham Palace.

However, speaking on GMTV a few minutes ago, the actress denied any knowledge of a planned meeting.

She said, �The honest answer is I don�t know. To me it�s a rumour too. I don�t feel like I have to, and I don�t know anything about it.�

Dame Helen also claimed the hamburger she was famously snapped munching on following her big night at the Oscars last week was her first in years.

She said, �That was my first in four years, I don�t regularly eat! But right then it hit the spot! It was an in and out burger!�
