Extras stars Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant will be making a guest appearance on this year�s Celebrity Comic Relief Fame Academy.

They will be supporting their Extras co-star Shaun Williamson who will be competing in the charity event alongside stars such as model Tara Palmer-Tomkinson.

The full-line up features Birds of a Feather actress Linda Robson, DJ Colin Murray, presenters Zoe Salmon, Angellica Bell and Ray Stubbs, comedians Mel Giedroych, Tim Vine and Rowland Rivro, actresses Miranda Hart and Tricia Penrose, broadcaster Fred MacAulay.

The show, which will be presented by Claudia Winkleman and Patrick Kielty, starts this weekend.
