Borat Banned From The Oscars

Oscar bosses have banned Borat from the Academy Awards on Sunday night over fears he could embarrass them.

Sasha Baron Cohen had been invited to present a gong at the glitzy bash, but Oscar chiefs withdrew their offer after he told them he wanted to appear as his film comedy character.

A source tells the Daily Mirror, "Oscars organisers and Sacha were looking forward to working together and talks for him to present an award were at an advanced stage.

But when Sacha said he wanted to be Borat, they told him it wasn't possible."
