Madonna is intent on her daughter Lourdes staying on the straight and narrow, and has enforced strict rules to ensure it stays that way.

Despite launching her career by being a precocious �boy toy�, singing 'Like A Virgin', and courting as much controversy as she could manage in her long stint as a pop star, Madonna has decided her daughter Lourdes will have a much less �eventful� life. Well, until she turns 18 anyway.

48 year old Madge has banned her ten year old daughter Lourdes from going on dates until she is 18, saying 'No boys for her until she turns 18. She's a good girl, though. She doesn't have it easy. Late night TV, junk food and mess are not tolerated in my house.'

Apparently, the strict measures were implemented after they attended the premiere of 'Arthur and the Invisibles', where Lourdes was complimented on her good looks which pushed Madonna into worrying mother mode.

If she takes after her mum, we can�t wait to see the fireworks when Lourdes hits her teens.
