Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton have squashed rumours that the two had fallen out: by being snapped on a day-long shopping spree.

The two hung out in Hollywood, wearing matching skinny jeans and oversized glasses. Like that wasn't planned...

According to America's Hello magazine, Nicole even found time for a wardrobe change halfway through the day, before she met her boyfriend, Good Charlotte's Joel Madden.

Also nice to see that Mischa Barton has been keeping busy since leaving The O.C.
