The New York Post is claiming that Mills is desperate to keep their daughter Beatrice. A friend of Mills told the paper "Paul is asking for full custody of their child, Beatrice. Heather is furious. There is no way she would ever, ever agree to that."
The fear of losing custody of Beatrice has reportedly lead Mills to decide to make the claims. Although there is no evidence that any of McCartney�s children from his marriage to Linda McCartney ever contemplated suicide, all four children have rallied round Paul since his separation from Mills.
However, Heather is apparently desperate and is requesting full custody of the child. She is also reportedly acting as her own divorce lawyer because she felt she could do a better job herself," the source said.
The paper also claims heather is now holding out for more than $100 million in the settlement. The source is quoted as saying "At first, she told Paul she would walk away for just $100 million - which is very cheap. He is worth billions. But now that (the divorce) has gotten so nasty, she wants more."
A spokesman for McCartney refused to confirm or deny the story saying: "We have not and will not perpetuate tabloid fodder."
