Britney Spears made a late night dash to hospital after shaving all of her hair off, apparently begging to staff: Help me.
The strange events took place of Friday night in LA. After running in to a salon and shaving all her hair off, a newly bald Spears then popped to a tattoo parlour to get two new tattoos. She then visited the Beverly Hills medical centre where she made the desperate help me plea, before leaving after an hour.
Sources are claiming Spearss public breakdown was because she is struggling to cope with the stress of her divorce with Kevin Federline, and is desperately worried her ex will take custody of her two children Sean Preston, one, and five month old Jayden James.
Friday nights events top a bizarre twenty four hours for the singer. She checked into an Antigua rehab centre on Thursday, after four days partying in New York City. She stayed less than 24 hours before checking herself out again and flying to California.
On Friday she was seen crying in her limousine for ten minutes, outside Esthers Hairdressing Studio. When she entered the salon, hairdressers refused to shave her hair off so Spears then took hold of the clippers and did it herself. Salon owner Esther Tognozzi said: I tried to talk her out of it, but she said No, I absolutely want it shaved off now afterwards she looked in the mirror with tears in her eyes and said Oh my god, I shaved it all off. My mom is going to be so upset with me Esther said throughout the experience Britney seemed distant; she was just there in body and not really emotionally there.
After leaving the salon, Britney visited the Body and Soul Tattoo parlour where she had a set of pink lips tattooed on her wrist, and a black white and pink cross etched on her hip. Spears then visited Cedars Sinai Medical Centre at 2am, where she entered a private room. Witnesses say Spears seemed disturbed, she left after an hour. Spears spokesperson has refused to comment.
Britneys hair is now apparently up for sale on eBay, with bids around the 500,000 mark. A spokesman for the hairdressers who have put it up for auction said the money raised will go to charity.
