One of the more predictable celebrity splits has been confirmed � Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have broken up.

The actor�s agent Robert Garlock has confirmed the pair �split amicably� this week.

This news follows repeated reports the pair had been quarrelling over Grant�s refusal to acquiesce to Khan�s demands to commit.

We always knew she was onto a loser on that one - Hugh never committed to Liz Hurley despite a decade of dating, so Khan�s three-year relationship never stood a chance.
