Supermodel Naomi Campbell has added her weighty opinion to the size zero debate, saying it�s not the fashion industry�s fault.

Campbell has said that underweight models seen on the catwalk were suffering from a psychological illness, they weren�t under pressure to look skinny.

Naomi was at the Elle Style Awards Tuesday night (February 13) to pick up the model of the year title. Speaking about the debate she said:  "You can't blame the industry for a psychological disease. It is a disease, like alcohol or drugs, and the industry is not to blame."

Asked to name her style icon, she chose best friend and fellow model Kate Moss, adding: "It's always Kate. I love my Kate."

Penelope Cruz was there to collect the award for best film for Volver Madonna won the top style icon award but didn�t turn up to pick up the award. Thandie Newton won best actress and Jude Law was named best actor, while Stella McCartney took home the award for best designer. and Amy Winehouse won best British music act.
