X Factor winner Leona Lewis has signed a massive record deal in the US with the man behind Whitney Houston�s discovery.
The $9.7m (�5m) deal with Clive Davis, who also brought the world Alicia Keys and the solo career of Justin Timberlake, for five albums.
Speaking about the news Leona said: : "I am just overwhelmed. I can't believe everything has happened so fast, from winning the X Factor to coming to LA."
The singer has been likened to a cross between Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey and looks set to be come a huge star around the world.
