It seems that restaurant mogul and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey may be tasting a bit of his own medicine these days...!
And for once its not Ramsay whos been left with a bitter taste in his mouth. His newly opened New York restaurant has failed to impress critics quite on the contrary, in fact!
Frank Bruni, the renowned food critic for The New York Times, hailed The London- Ramsays new eatery, unexciting.
He went on to attack the food, saying that Ramsay used predictable ingredients. He also attacked a dearth of inspiration in some starters and main courses.
The carmelised scallops came under a particularly scathing attack. He branded them dutiful, forgettable performances. The reputable food critic launched further into critiscism saying, Most ingredients are predictable, most flavours polite and most effects muted.
Some dishes did merit Bruni's 'compliments to the chef',however. But, sadly, the overall design of the restaurant also received a severing walloping.
This time its Ramsay whos been sent to the kitchen, tail between his legs!
