Russell Crowe To Star In New Robin Hood Film?

Russell Crowe has been linked with the Sheriff Of Nottingham role in a new film based on Robin Hood.

 

The BBC reports that the film, provisionally called Nottingham, will be a �revisionist� take on the legend.

 

According to their source, the Sheriff will be a good guy, investigating murders for which Robin Hood is the chief suspect.

 

"Part of the strength of the script was the simple idea of doing Robin Hood by making the Sheriff the good guy," writer Ethan Reiff has said.

 

At least it can�t be as bad as that Kevin Costner effort�
