Big Brother officials have banned the public from attending tonights eviction.
There are worries that an angry mob could attack Jade Goody after she spat 'racist 'abuse aimed at fellow Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty.
The shows producer said today, Over the past few days, Celebrity Big Brother has generated an intense and, at times, heated public debate which the evicted housemate will be unaware of.
"As a result, Channel 4 and Endemol have taken the decision to conduct tonight's eviction in front of a studio audience and without a crowd."
Many of those who were due to attend tonights eviction were competition winners who will no doubt be disappointed at the decision.
As well as banning members of the audience, Big Brother officials will also place bag checks and heighten security procedures for the studio audience.
The recent Goody/Shilpa row has sparked frenzied interest in the show, which enjoyed a rise of 2.2 million viewers since Monday.
