Lost Producers Decide Series End Date

Producers of Lost are working out an end date for the series with US network ABC.

But don?t fear fans for the show is not set to finish in the near future, producers say theyjust want an end date to work towards.

"Once we figure out when that will be, a lot of the questions will go away," said executive producer Carlton Cuse.

Viewing figures have suffered both sides of the Atlantic for the third series and producers fear that if they don?t act soon the show could run too long.

Citing the X Files as an example Cuse added: "That was a great show that probably ran two seasons too long. That is a cautionary tale for us."
