Becks Calls Up Tom Cruise

David Beckham admitted yesterday that he�s been getting advice from his Top Gun pal Tom Cruise on how to live safely in LA.

The top footballing star who is set to move to Los Angeles and play for soccer team LA Galaxy asked his �good friend� on issues of security and the paparazzi.

Calling him a �wise man� Becks went on to say that he had called Cruise twice in the last two days.

We wonder if Cruise is looking for a new celebrity convert?
