Bindi Irwin has begun her eight day promotional tour around the US which some have labelled �exploitative�.
The eight year old kicked off the jaunt with TV appearances as part of Tourism Australia�s �G�Day USA� week.
She is also promoting her own show for the Disney Channel Bindi, The Jungle Girl which will be aired later this year.
One of her first appearances was on the Ellen DeGeneres show where she said that she hoped her father Steve Irwin would be proud of her.
Many people have criticised the tour saying that it is exploiting Bindi following the death of her father last year.
However, the families� manager John Stainton hit back earlier this week saying that she was not being forced into the spotlight.
We just hope he sticks to his word.
