Apocalypto Sets New Box Office Records

For its first weekend in the UK...

Mel Gibson�s Apocalypto broke all records during its first weekend of release in the UK.

A box office of �1,360,110 made it the the best first weekend for any foreign language film ever.

The previous record was held by Hero which took �1.05 million over the course of its opening weekend.

Apocalypto opened in 385 cinemas across the UK.
