Britney Spears has checked into a health spa in Arizona, days after collapsing in a nightclub on New Year�s Eve.
The Sanctuary spa, a luxurious five-star resort, is where the troubled star has retreated after a turbulent 2006, topped off by her collapse in Las Vegas, which her minders said was because she had �fallen asleep�.
In The Sun Britney claims she needs some �rest and relaxation�, thus the decision to visit the spa for the next few days.
A US contact however says that �with these celebrities, �exhaustion� sometimes means something else and a rest at a spa sometimes actually translates into something a little more serious�.
Just yesterday Britney announced that her resolutions for 2007 were to �stop biting my nails, just to take care of me more�, so at least she�s on the right path�
