Sienna Miller has denied claims by Bob Dylan that her film Factory Girl blames the singer/songwriter for the death of Edie Sedgwick.
Dyaln had attempted to stop filming of the movie claiming that it defamed over the death of Andy Warhols muse.
He said that the character Billy Quinn who has a doomed affair with Sedgwick bore a physical likeness to him.
However, Miller told the Observer: "I'm Bob Dylan's biggest fan. I'm mortified that he's pissed off."
"She (Sedgwick) needed help and no one helped her. It's not that Dylan drove her to heroin addiction.
"It very obviously looks and sounds like Dylan," said Miller. "But I think a lot of actors base performances on real life."
The film opened in the US on Friday to allow it to qualify for this years Oscars.
