Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is rumoured to be appearing at next year�s Brit Awards.

According to The Sun, Depp will on stage, not to perform but to present the Outstanding Contribution to Music award to Oasis.

Depp became friendly with Noel Gallagher through their then girlfriends, Meg Matthews and Kate Moss.

A source said: �The awards are shaping up to be bigger and better then ever.

�This year it�s going back to be bigger and better then ever�it�s going back to being broadcast live so the organisers have gone for huge names to spice it up.

�Having Johnny Depp there is a massive coup. Getting Oasis is amazing enough, but they needed someone iconic to present.�

Acts already slated to perform at the February show include Amy Winehouse, Take That and the Scissor Sisters.
