Nicole Richie�s famous father Lionel has reached out to his daughter in her hour of needs to see if there is anything she needs.

Richie was arrested earlier this month after she wa spotted driving the wrong way down a Californian highway; she later told police officers that she had been smoking pot and popping Vicodin.

Lionel is desperate to help his adopted daughter, a source told the Mirror: �After his wild youth Lionel feels he doesn�t have a right to lecture.

�He wanted to let Nicole know that if she needed anything like counselling, rehab, he would be happy to help her.

�Nicole confessed that the only thing she could think of that would help her right now was a chauffer.�

Surely spoiling her like this is what caused to think she could drive the wrong way down the highway in the first place?
