A Guns N Roses drum kit burst into flames during a show in Los Angeles earlier this week.

Axl Rose and his backing band were mid-way through performing �November Rain� on Tuesday night when the kit caught fire from the pyrotechnics.

Rotund Rose said to the crowd at the Gibson Amphitheatre: �That�s a first. The fucking drums caught fire. I like that. We might just �Spinal Tap� the drummer. Blow Him Up.�

Guns N Roses are set to release their much-delayed album �Chinese Democracy� in the spring.
