X Factor finalist Leona Lewis has hit back at claims that the show has been fixed for her to win saying that she deserves to be in the final.
Speaking to the Sun, Leona took the opportunity to clear her name, she said: ?I get really nervous just before I go on stage ? when standing behind the curtains all you can hear is the crowd screaming and it really gets your heart racing.
?Then, when I get on stage I go into my own world.
?But it makes me angry when people say the show has been fixed ? it?s not at all.
?I deserve to be here. I have worked so hard at trying to improve. I give it 100% every week and I really want to win.
?I just want to concentrate on singing and getting a record deal, that?s my dream.?
Leona was also quick to clear up rumours that she was been having an affair with her mentor Simon Cowell.
She said: ?I was shocked when I read that I supposedly wanted to bed Simon. There is no way I would sleep with him. I never said anything like that.
?He is more like a father to me than someone I would go out with. He?s about the same age as my dad too.?
