David Walliams Honoured For His Charitable Swim

Walliams swam the Channel in July, it took him 10 and a half hours but he raised over 1million for Sport Relief.

Walliams collected his award from the lively Gary Lineker and said to the former footballer of his swim: "The worst part was the cold, it really gets you down so I had to start thinking about Abba songs to keep me happy, and I thought about you a lot,"

"I saw a lot of jellyfish, but luckily I didn't get stung. I did go through some sewage,"

"Are you sure you don't want to give it to anybody who did anything better?"

Walliams has promised to stick to being funny in the future.
