Sir Paul McCartney expressed his thanks today after a horde of stolen family pictures were returned to him.

Photographs found dumped in bin bags on waste ground included some intimate snaps of his estranged wife Heather Mills and their daughter Beatrice.

According to The Sun, who returned the pictures to the former Beatle, one showed Heather in bed, whilst another saw her posing nude whilst heavily pregnant.

Sir Paul told the newspaper, �I�m very grateful to the Sun for getting these pictures back to me.�

And we're sure they didn't even think about copying them before handing them over.
