Did Eddie Murphy's Mum Split Up Him And Mel B?

It has been revealed that the women who really came between actor Eddie Murphy and his ex-girlfriend Mel B was his mother!

Friends have said that Eddie�s overbearing mother Lillian did not approve of the former Spice Girl; Murphy announced on Dutch TV that he and Mel B were no longer together just hours before arriving at the premiere of his new film �Dreamgirls� with new girlfriend Tracey Edmonds.

A friend of Mel�s told the Mirror: �He lives with his mum and she didn�t approve of Mel. But he�s a 45 year old man and should stop being such a mummy�s boy.�

�Mel and Eddie had been rowing a lot about his family, most of whom are on his payroll.

�They were suspicious of Mel because she got pregnant so quickly after they met.�

Mel is currently five months pregnant, but Murphy is unsure as to whether the baby is even his.

Speaking on a Dutch TV programme, when asked about Mel and the new baby he said: �You�re being presumptuous because we�re not together any more. And I don�t know whose child it is until it comes out and has a blood test.�

However a friend of Mel�s has confirmed that the baby is definitely Murphy�s adding: �Mel is not that sort of girl. It�s 100% his�she is absolutely devastated.�
