Police To Question Pete Doherty In Relation To Death Of 30 Year Old Man

Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty is wanted for questioning by London�s police regarding the death of an actor last Sunday.

Doherty was attending a party in Whitechapel when he became involved in an argument with actor Mark Blanco aged 30.

Both men were at the party as guests of Paul Roundhill, as their argument turned into a physical fight, Roundhill asked the lesser known Blanco to leave; minutes later Blanco fell to his death from a second floor balcony.

A source told the Sun: �Blanco arrived at Paul�s a little drunk. He and Pete started to niggle each other.

�It turned into a full blown argument, with insults being thrown on both sides. The argument got physical and Roundhill stepped in to break it up. He then asked Blanco to leave.

�A few minutes later some lads came rushing up to say there was a man lying in the street.�

Doherty left the party before police arrived and retired to the Malmaison hotel where he reportedly trashed the place leaving it covered in blood; hotel staff also say there was evidence that he had been taking drugs.

Police are currently treating Blanco�s death as �unexplained� and are keen to speak to Doherty; however there is no suggestion that the shambolic singer was involved in Blanco�s death.
