US actor George Clooney is currently mourning the loss of his pot Vietnamese pot bellied pig Max.
Max had lived with Clooney at his Hollywood home for 18 years, but in recent years had suffered from arthritis and blindness.
The 300lb pig passed away while Clooney was away from home shooting his new film, �The Good German�.
Clooney said of Max yesterday: �Max was as old a pig as the vets had ever seen�he�s been a big part of my life.
�It�s been a bad year for my pets. I had a bulldog die, too.�
However, Clooney has no intention of replacing the irreplaceable Max, he added: �I think he has covered all my pet needs.�
R.I.P Max.
