Gwyneth Paltrow has proved she is now more of a Brit then a Yank by claiming she prefers British people rather then her own across the pond.
She said to Portuguese newspaper Diaro de Noticas: �I don�t fit into the bad side of American psychology.
�The British are much more intelligent and civilised then the Americans.�
The US press have been quick to pick up on Paltrow�s comments and many of Paltrow�s US fans have been quick to slam the actress.
However, it seems that Paltrow, whop is married to Coldplay�s Chris Martin is not intending on returning to the US to live there full time.
One of the main reasons being her friendship with neighbour Madonna; the friends live close to each other in Belgravia, London and have become close.
Paltrow said of Madge: �Madonna is like an older sister. Everything I have gone through, she had 10 times worse and 10 times longer.
�She gives me good advice about how to say no and take care of myself.�
Hopefully she can give her some good advice on how to protect herself from irate Americans!
