Black Eyed Peas and Scissor Sisters have announced ambitious plans to play five gigs in five different countries this New Year�s Eve.
The bands will criss-cross the globe, playing in Hong Kong and Mumbai, India before the Scissor Sisters headline at the Berlin�s Brandenburg Gate, whilst the Black Eyed Peas head for Inanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The final gig, which will also be available on-line as part of Nokia�s Five Cities One Party broadcast, will then take place in New York.
Black Eyed Peas� Will.I.Am says, �It's great to take part in this event because one we love Brazil, two because we'll be in Brazil, three because Brazil is a great place to bring in the New Year, four because Brazil's scenery is beautiful and five its the New Year."
