Courtney Love is to get her own radio station for the day taking over the programming of the BBCs 6 Music.
The former Hole front woman will pick the songs that will include rarely heard session tracks from her own band and those Nirvana on December 11.
She will also speak about how she met her late husband Kurt Cobain and host a documentary about Liverpools New Wave scene in the early 80s.
Speaking about her play list she said: "I'm doing a teaching exercise. I want people to learn things. I've made a list, checked it twice, and I found myself living in the past."
Oasis and Moby will also take over the station for a day next month.
