ITV has announced that it�s ill fated and seriously expensive reality TV show �Love Island� will not be returning for a third series.

This year�s awful show suffered from appalling ratings; some blamed this on the fact that it was up against Big Brother, others realised it was because the show was a bag of shite.

ITV�s director of television Simon Shaps said that whilst he had "nothing but admiration" for the show�s production team, Love Island would not be returning.

He added: "But I just don't think the public appetite was strong enough for us to bring it back for a third year."

Damn right it wasn�t!
