Westlife�s The Love Album� brushed aside Oasis and The Beatles to gain the number one slot in the charts this week.

Oasis took the consolation of second place, while The Fab Four charted at three.

U2�s best of �U218 Singles� came in at four while George Michael�s �Twenty Five� slipped from the top spot to five.

Over in the singles chart Take That gained their first number one in decade with �Patience.�

They�re expected to gain another number one this week when their album �Beautiful World� hits the shelves.

Razorlight stayed in the top ten with �America� � incredibly on its ninth week of release, while Red Hot Chili Peppers entered at 16 with �Snow (Hey Oh).�
