Love Island will tragically not be appearing on our TV screens ago the reality TV shows been axed by ITV.
The channel has decided to permanently pull the plug on the celebrity dating show after the second series attracted low viewing figures this summer despite a host of stars including Sophie Anderton, Calum Best are, er, Bianca Gascoigne appearing and pretending to date each other.
ITV head honcho Simon Shaps said the programme was brilliantly made but added, in quintessential management speak, But I just don't think the public appetite was strong enough for us to bring it back for a third year.
