Anthony Hannah of X-Factor Eton Road has told how he starved himself to a frightening eight and a half stone in his bid for fame!
He told the News of the World that he lived on celery and water to lose five stone and only realised his extreme dieting had gone too far when he saw himself on the ITV1 audition shows looking weak and frail.
Initially he joined a Theatre School in Liverpool at an ample thirteen stone, but was told to trim down so his dancing could improve. He felt his ability to perform was hindered by weight so set out to change.
He cut out foods that were unhealthy and increased his exercise, though from then on things went too far. On a diet that would result in chronic malnutrition things were not looking good.
Friends became concerned that Anthony was suffering from the eating disorder Anorexia. Anthony denies all rumours of any eating disorders (he always has) but admits that he was not eating healthily.
He confirms that he has now changed his eating habits after seeing himself on the earlier X-Factor shows in which he describes himself as �disgusting�.
