Take That are looking to be back at the top of the singles charts this Sunday with their brand new single �Patience�.

The band reformed earlier this year for a sell out reunion tour and have a new album on the way.

They have already sold 20,000 copies of �Patience��if they do make it to number 1 it will be their first since �How Deep Is Your Love� 10 years ago.

A music source said to the Mirror: �It�s a remarkable feat. A year ago they were all but forgotten.

�The nay-sayers were claiming that the reunion was a waste of time without Robbie Williams but they�ve proved everyone wrong.�

HMV spokesman Gennaro Castaldo added: ��Patience� is well on it�s way to giving the band their ninth number 1.

�It also makes then early contenders to top the charts this Christmas.�

Wicked�Take That�s new album �Beautiful World� is out next week.
