Jay-Z staged a staggering seven concerts across the US in just 24 hours this weekend.

The string of 30-minute shows marked the 36-year-old rapper�s return to the live arena following his so-called retirement from the business. 

He took in shows in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Washington, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, before winding up in Las Vegas.

Jay-Z was ferried across the country in a private jet and took in music venues, universities and clubs.

He was airing material from his comeback album �Kingdom Come�, out this month.
