Madonna's New Book Fails To Sell Big

Madonna�s latest literary venture, children�s novel �The English Roses� has �flopped� in the US.

Insiders believe that the media furore around Madge�s adoption of Baby David from Malawi has contributed to bad sales, and insider said: �It wasn�t very good timing.�

Just 9,000 copies of �The English Roses: Too Good To Be True� have been sold since October 24 despite a huge promotional campaign.

Maybe she shouldn�t give up her day job,  however, Madge�s first children�s novel �The English Roses� has sold 350,000 copies in three years.

There is hope yet�
