Sean Brosnan was in courting London for attacking a stranger on the street during a booze fuelled night out earlier this year.
Brosnan had previously been convicted of assaulting student Omid Khalili; he reportedly hit Khalili so hard on the jaw that he was unable to eat for several days.
At West London Magistrates Court yesterday, District Judge Susan Williams sentenced Brosnan to 100 hours community service and ordered him to pay Khalili �250 compensation.
She said of the assault: "This was a particularly nasty attack".
