50 Cent is set to star alongside the legendary Robert de Niro in a new movie.
The police thriller �New Orleans� will star Fiddy as a cop working in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
De Niro is also touted to star as a policeman who believes his partner was killed in the hurricane, but finds out that he was killed by a criminal afterwards.
Fiddy and De Niro then launch an investigation into the killing.
Apparently, the script was originally written for a Los Angeles based thriller, but producers moved the show believing that the hurricane would give it more impact.
50 Cent � real name Curtis Jackson � starred in the film loosely based on his own life �Get Rich or Die Tryin.�
