Linda�s tapes reportedly contain explosive information about Linda�s life with Paul, and could feature evidence that would support Heather�s claims that Paul was abusive and violent towards her.
Heather is frantic that Paul may be able to procure the tapes fro their owner Peter Cox, a long time friend of Linda�s and wipe them clean; to prevent this she has instructed her lawyers to demand that Paul safeguard the tapes.
A source told the Mirror: �This is a dramatic and significant development. Heather feels Linda�s tapes will back up her claims of suffering abuse by Macca.
�Heather has voiced fears that if Paul buys the only copies, and they are destroyed or kept secret, her case will be seriously weakened. She is desperate for a guarantee that the tapes are not taken out of the equation.
�Heather believes her story of her marriage to Paul will stun the world. If Linda�s tapes underline her case, then so much the better. The voice of Linda allegedly disparaging Paul from beyond the grave is potentially dynamite.�
