The recently bereaved Anna Nicole Smith has given her first interview since the shocking death of her 20 year old son to US TV show Entertainment Tonight.
Daniel Wayne, 20, son of Anna Nicole Smith was found dead in his mother�s hospital room in the Bahamas on September 10 just hours after she had given birth to her baby daughter Dannilyn.
After two post mortems toxicology tests revealed that Daniel Wayne had died from a cocktail of drugs in his system.
Entertainment Tonight reporter Mark Steines was invited to Anna Nicole�s current home in the Bahamas to conduct the interview.
Steines claims that the media has made Anna Nicole into a recluse as she is unable to leave her home.
On the Entertainment Tonight website he writes: "There are absolutely no signs of life on the outside. I would come to learn that the fear of constant paparazzi keeps Anna and her support team locked up, blinds drawn, and constantly aware that prying eyes are trying to snap photos.
"There is a pool no one uses, gardens no one visits and terraces no one stands on to take in the very warm night air. Anna and her baby live pretty much like prisoners inside this home."
He said of her former model: "She seemed calmer, sadder, a bit of a broken bird, yet she looked quite beautiful."
He added that although she remained calm throughout the interview she "crumbles like a house of cards, tears pouring out of her eyes" when asked about her son.
The interview will be broadcast this Thursday.
