Singer/actress Jessica Simpson is so desperate to find a man that she has reportedly started looking for a suitable candidate online.

According to More magazine, Simpson has created a new MySpace page under a false name in a bid to ensnare a man.

Simpson divorced her �Newlyweds� husband Nick Lachey earlier this year; since then she ahs been pretty much single apart from a brief fling with musician John Mayer.

A source said: �After she split up with John she set up a MySpace page to meet new people,�
 
�She did it in a fake name but got really into it. She's totally addicted. Whenever she's at home, she's on her laptop.�
