The police have revealed that Naomi Campbell was kept in a central London police station for 12 hours after a woman claiming to be the supermodels drug counsellor claimed she attacked her.
However, according to the Mirror, Naomi was not even questioned during her time at the station but instead was put into a cell to sober up after police felt she was too drunk to be questioned.
Naomi was arrested at her home in Westminster in relation to a woman who entered a police station with her face covered in scratches; she claimed that she had been attacked by the model.
A police source said of Naomis behaviour: She was very animated and abusive. The officers felt, based on experience, that she had been drinking.
A doctor was called. It was debated if she should go to hospital but it was decided to allow her to sleep in the cells.
Several times during the evening she was visited and it was clear she was still not in a fit state to be interviewed.
In the early hours of yesterday morning Naomi was released on bail so she was able to attend a work commitment in Paris.
This is the third time in just one year that an aide/employee of Naomis has claimed she attacked them. In March her housekeeper in New York, Ana Scolvino claimed that Naomi hit her over the head with a mobile phone; in July her assistant Amanda Brack sued the model for assault and false imprisonment.
What on earth makes one woman so damn angry?
