Craig Charles has escaped with a police caution over his notorious back seat crack binge.

The Corrie actor has been on bail since the expose of his �600 a day addiction back in June by the Daily Mirror.

He was secretly filmed taking up to 60 hits of crack cocaine while in a taxi to Manchester.

Police found traces of the drug in the car at his flat, he later admitted the offences after the Crown Prosecution Service decide to caution him rather than charge him with possession.
