The full list of nominations for this year�s MTV Europe Music Awards have been announced.

Red Hot Chili Peppers head the list with four nominations, including best album for �Stadium Arcadium� and best song for �Dani California.�

Muse, Kanye West, Madonna, Shakira, Nelly Furtado and Christina Aguilera all scooped three nominations each.

This year�s event takes place in Copenhagen, Denmark on November 1 and will be hosted by Justin Timberlake.

The nominations were compiled by a board of 1,700 people in the music industry.
