Eddie Izzard Joins Cast Of '24'

British comedian Eddie Izzard has joined the cast of hit TV show �24�.

Izzard will be playing the role of Darren McCarthy; a character described by producers as "a villainous accomplice"�oo-er.

Also joining the cast for the sixth series is actor James Cromwell, Ananova reported that the sixth series will pick up 20 months after the fifth series left off.

Hopefully this doesn�t mean that Izzard is leaving his stand-up career behind�
